PISOLITHUS TINCTORIUS, A NEW RECORD FROM PAKISTAN ABDUL RAZZAQ AND SALEEM SHAHZAD
Abstract: Pisolithus tinctorius is recorded for the first time from
Karachi, Pakistan. This species is characterized by production of brown, spiny
spores, 8.8 µm in diam., excluding spines which are up to 1 µm in
length. Sporocarps of the fungus were collected during summer from the
sandy soil, mostly around the root zone of Eucalyptus trees growing in
