RUBINA ABID AND M. QAISER*

Abstract: Twenty four species of the genus Artemisia L., were examined from Pakistan for their cypsela features. Micromorphological characters of cypsela including position of corolla scar on cypsela, shape, surface, colour and carpopodium have been found very useful to evaluate the taxonomic significance for the specific delimitation in the genus Artemisia.
