MEDICINAL PLANTS OF USHERAI VALLEY, DIR, NWFP, PAKISTAN
ALI HAZRAT*, JEHANDAR SHAH, SHUJAAT AHMAD, MOHAMMAD NISAR, ABDUL KHALIQ JAN AND SIKANDARAbstract: This research is based on the results of an ethno-botanical research conducted in Usherai Valley. The main objective was to enlist the wealth of medicinal plants. In total 50 species, belonging to 32 families of wild herbs, shrubs and trees were found to be used as medicinal plants by the inhabitants in the valley.
