ENHANCED AMYLOGLUCOSIDASE BIOSYNTHESIS THROUGH MUTAGENESIS USING ASPERGILLUS NIGER
SHAZIA MALIK1, TEHREEMA IFTIKHAR2* AND IKRAM UL HAQ1
Abstract: In the present study the selected strain of Aspergillus niger was subjected to physical and chemical mutagenesis. Alternate treatments of Ethidium bromide and EMS were also given to the parental strain. The mutant strain M4 (120 min) produced an increased amount of amyloglucosidase (18.84 U/ml/min).
