NUMERICAL TAXONOMIC STUDY OF SOME TRIBES OF COMPOSITAE (SUBFAMILY ASTEROIDEAE) FROM EGYPT

Abstract: A systematic study of 25 taxa belonging to 12 genera of tribes Gnaphalieae, Helenieae, Plucheeae and Senecioneae of Compositae from Egypt was conducted by means of numerical analysis based on 19 main pollen grains characters. On the basis of UPGMA (Unpaired Group Method off Averaging) clustering and PCO (Principal Component Analysis), two main groups and five subgroups are recognized.
