Abstract: The study is designed to optimize eco-cultural conditions for extracellular lipase production by Fusarium sp. under solid state fermentation conditions by using different agricultural byproducts. Almond meal yielded maximum extracellular lipase production (3.48±0.01a U/mL). Study was made for other parameters also. Inoculum size @1mL, volume of diluent @ 10mL, incubation temperature @ 30oC, Peptone @ 1%, Glucose @1% and olive oil @ 1% were found to be the most suitable conditions for optimum extracellular lipase production. Maximum production of the extracellular lipase (56.7±0.01a U/mL) was obtained at 72hours of incubation time.
