	ROCK ALGAE OF BATKHELA DISTRICT MALAKAND, PAKISTAN BARKATULLAH¹, FARRUKH HUSSAIN², NIAZ ALI¹ AND IMTIAZ AHMAD¹ Abstract: The present study describes a total of 63 lithophytic algal species belonging to Cyanophyta (11 genera, 30 species), Chlorophyta (3 genera, 7 species) and Bacillariophyta (16 genera, 26 species) from rocks of Batkhela, District Malakand. The collected specimens were identified and described.
