A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS CLOSTERJUM FROM PAKISTAN MASUD-UL-HASSAN, TAHMINA RASOOL AND MOHAMMED NIZAMUDDIN* Abstract: During our investigations on the freshwater algae of the Puujab, we came across an interesting collection of Closterium spp., usually growing as planctonic in the rice fields.
