ADDITION TO PHYLLOSTICTA PERSOON FROM PAKISTAN

Abstract: History of Phyllosticta is traced and description of the genus is amended in the light of recent developments on conidiogenesis and appendage formation. A new species Phyllosticta sultanii and a new name Phyllosticta ahmadii are described, illustrated and compared with related taxa.
