COMMON MEDICINAL PLANTS OF FAJIGRAM, TEHSIL SALARZAI, DISTRICT BAJAUR KYBERPAKHTUNKHWA, PAKISTAN

Abstract
The study was conducted to obtain medicinal information from the selected area; different visits were arranged from August 2018 to September 2019. The species of these plants were gathered in flowering and fruiting seasons. Total of 81 plant species belonging to 37 families were collected for the curing of various diseases. The leading family was Asteraceae, represented by 11 plant species while most commonly used part are whole plant represented by 25 medicinal plants. The information was obtained through questionnaires and about three hundreds indigenous people were interviewed from separate villages of study region. Female-male were equally interviewed and most of their ages were ranges from 33 to 99 years. This study consists of local name, botanical name, family name, used part and medicinal uses of plants. Although, no extensive research was conducted before this to investigate the medicinal uses of these plant and this work will be cooperative for new researcher.
