Seed morphological studies of some common plants of karachi
Abstract
Seed morphology of 78 species , belonging to 62 genera , distributed in 28 families have been studied . these investigations involve the study of shape , colour, surface and position of hilum and lens , size , weight and number of seeds/fruits . seed surface have been studied by scanning electron microscopy.
