Abstract
In the valuation of compression ignition engine, the consequence of fuel injection timing on combustion analysis aspects were inspected in a Kirloskar DM10 category engine using Pongamia, soya bean and Rice bran FAMEs. These FAMEs were equipped through methonalysis process using 400 ml oils (PO, SBO and RBO ), 4 drops of hydrochloric liquid for removed impurities, 1.2 grams of potassium hydroxide used as a catalyst and 100 ml amount of methanol between 55o C- 60o C. Following the methonalysis process then these three FAMEs were blended in ratios of B5, B10 and B15. These different kinds of FAME blend ratios were investigated in different injection timings such as advance and retardment of the injection timings positions. The advancement of injection timings have higher in combustion aspects at 7 Crank Angle Degree positions using higher blends of Pongamia FAME. The results of the retardment position have lower combustion aspects compared to advancement positions by various methyl ester blends. Different Blend ratios of PO have better hopeful outcomes compared to SBO and RBO.
