EFFECT OF PSEUDOMONAS FLUORESCENS AND TRICHODERMA HARZIANUM WITH DRY POWDER EXTRACTS OF DIFFERENT PLANTS ON SOIL-BORNE PHYTOPATHOGENS AND GROWTH OF OKRA PLANTS
FARZANA
Abstract
The present study conducted for the biochemical estimation test and effect of Pseudomonas fluorescens and Trichoderma harzianum with dry powder extract of Cassia fistula fruit and Ocimum basilicum leaves and stem on soil-borne plant pathogens and physiological growth of Okra plant. For this purpose, leaves samples were taken after 45 days of treatment and biochemical analysis including chlorophyll a, b, carotenoids, carbohydrates and phenol were calculated. Effect of P. fluorescens with Cassia fistula fruit and Ocimum basilicum leaves and stem powder at the concentration of 0.5 and 1% were treated against the soil-borne plant pathogenic fungi (Fusarium oxysporum, Macrophomina phaseolina and Rhizoctonia solani) and root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne javanica) on the growth of okra plants in screen house. The results indicated that C. fistula fruit dry powder with T. harzianum is more effective than P. fluorescens treatments. It showed maximum results in both concentrations 0.5 and 1%.
