Environmental degradation and biodiversity loss, livelihood loss of poor rural populations in the province are the major associated glitches.
It is, therefore, considered necessary to make such study to map the drivers which are responsible for the loss of riverine resources and to address sustainably the liable issues based on the real database. The work reported focuses on the various factors of deforestation of riverine forests. It is designed to assess the causes of deforestation and its impact at different areas of Indus Basin.
