YUVA SINGH
Abstract
The present study aims on Biosynthesis of nanostructured materials using plant extracts and their active compounds which is effected on the A. albopictus mosquito larvae.Annona squamosa plant belongs to Annonaceae family. The crude extract of A. squamosa leaf was showed larvicidal property. The leaf anatomical and phytochemical character of A. squamosa studied by standard methods. The dengue vectorA. Albopictus was cultured in the laboratory. The Hay infusion method was followed for culturing mosquito larvae. The 3rd instar mosquito larvae were preferred for the bioassay test. The leaf crude extract of A. squamosa showed the 100% mortality at 250ppm and compare to the biosynthesized silver nanoparticles the 100% mortality shows at 10ppm in 24 hours of bioassay exposure. The characterization of Silver nanoparticles was studied by using instruments i.e. UV-Vis, FT-IR, XRD, TEM and GC-MS.
