Management of early blight and wilt diseases in organic production of tomato.

Field experiment was conducted for organic management of wilt and early blight diseases as well enhanced yield of tomato. Soil amendment and drenching with mustard cake 25% increase in yield and 96% reduction in wilt disease of tomato. Incidence of early blight was significantly reduced in plants sprayed with 10% neem leaves extract + 0.5 gm turmeric after 30 and 60 days of transplanting. Foliar spraying of 10% leaf extract of neem, reduced severity of A. alternate, causing tomato blight and leaf spot.
