COMPARISON BETWEEN THE FEDERAL TEXTBOOK OF BIOLOGY AND PROVINCIAL (KPK) TEXTBOOK OF BIOLOGY AT SECONDARY LEVEL

Abstract
Dropout means leave the school before the completing a course of study, the main objection of the presence study was find out the causes of dropout at elementary schools in Tehsil & district Mardan. For the purpose of selection of sample educational administrative Tehsil & District Mardan, was divided into Urban and rural areas. Overall ten schools were selected by stratified random sampling method. The result showed that poverty is the main and most important cause of dropout from the schools in Mardan district. The other main cause of dropouts were parents carelessness, regarding the increase of education expenses students lack of interest in education, not gaining immediate economics advantage from education. The questionnaire and interview will be used is a tools for the collection of data. The results are estimated to make significant contribution by providing an accurate evaluation which may help in solving the problems of dropouts at secondary level.
