Selenium accumulation ability of different watermelon varieties

Abstract
Abstract This experiment used six watermelon varieties as the research object and tested under selenium concentration of 30mg/L when leaves are sprayed with methionine, different levels of selenium accumulation ability from different varieties of watermelon and the influence of selenium content on different mature organs of watermelon when leaves are sprayed with methionine. The results showed that the selenium content of different varieties of watermelon was obviously different whether sprayed with methionine or not. When leaves are sprayed with selenium methionine, selenium content in varieties of watermelon have an obvious increase, among which Qinxin 30 has the most obvious selenium-rich ability, while Zs518 has the least; After spraying selenium, selenium content in watermelon organs have an obvious increase, and the distribution of selenium content among every organ of watermelon, such as root, petiole, leaf, peel and pulp, centers on petiole and leaf.
