Results shown that sound stimulation with frequency of 900 Hz and a strength of 98 dB obviously increase the growth of strawberry callus. In addition, soluble protein, and sugar in cytoplasm were increased with the sound stimulation. However, the sound stimulation promote growth was disappeared when the strawberry callus on the MS solid medium without Ca2+. These results indicate Ca2+ involved in sound stimulation promoting strawberry callus growth.
