Abstract
The experimental site is located at the Main Line Lower Land Reclamation Research Station Chak No. 37 TDA Bhakkar. The experiment on Morphological response of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) to growth management was studied. The experiment contain different treatment levels of Naphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA) including NAA0 (Control), NAA1 (40), NAA2 (60), NAA3 (80) and NAA4 (100 ml ha-1) on different stages including S1 (Seed soaking stage), S2 (Tillering stage), S3 (Stem elongation stage), S4 (Pollination stage) and S5 (Grain filling stage) of wheat. The result showed that plant population was maximum (95 plants m-2) in (NAA2 x S1), maximum number of tillers (11.83) in (NAA2 x S2), maximum grains per spike obtained (66.50) in (NAA2 x S5), maximum 1000 grain weight (45.70 g) in (NAA2 x S5), maximum Harvest Index (50.21%) in (NAA0 x S1), protein (14.70%) in (NAA2 x S2) and gluten (28%) recoded in (NAA2 x S2). It proved that (NAA2 x S2) was best interaction of NAA and different stages of wheat under arid condition.
