The effects of spermine and salicylic acid on physiochemical parameters of Pistachio (Pistacia vera L.) Cultivars under copper stress
mohammad Reza Salarizadeh
Abstract
The aim of this study was to identify the effect of Spermine (SPM) amelioration on important physiological parameters such as malondialdehyde (MDA), proline, chlorophyll a and b content, catalase (CAT), super oxide dismutase (SOD) and ascorbate peroxidase (APX) enzymes and the amounts of Cu, K and Ca2+ ions of two pistachio cultivars, Badami and Qazvini under copper stress. The experimental design of the study was completely randomized with three replicates per treatment, different concentrations of copper (o.5, 30, 45, 60 µM), two level of SA (0, o.5mM) and two level of Sp (0, o.5 mM).
