FIRST REPORT OF ERYSIPHE PRUNASTRI ON APPLE TREES IN PAKISTAN

Abstract
During a survey of plant pathogenic fungi of Ayubia National park, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan in 2017, a powdery mildew fungus was found to infect apple plants. After careful examination, it was identified as Erysiphe prunastri that is a new record for Pakistan. Malus pumila is also being reported here as a new host record for this disease in world.
