Abstract
Improper use of tillage practices and fertilizers application is one of the most important reason of low productivity. Therefore balance used of fertilizers and proper tillage practices is required to maintain soil fertility and enhanced crop productivity. Combine used of organic and inorganic fertilizers improved both soil fertility and crop production. The research was conducted at Agriculture Research Farm University of Agriculture Peshawar, Pakistan during 2015-16. The experiment was carried at RCBD (randomize complete block design) with split arrangement have replicated three time. The sub plot size was 4m x 3m. Tillage implement (Mould board plough and cultivator) were placed in main plot while integrated fertilizers (Control, 0 ton ha-1 FYM + 120 kg ha-1 N, 10 ton ha-1 FYM + 90 kg ha-1 N, 20 ton ha-1 FYM + 60 kg ha-1 N, 30 ton ha-1 FYM + 30 kg ha-1 N) were allotted to sub plot. Experimental result revealed (P≤0.05) were significantly different from one another. The highest plant height (82 cm), higher grain spike-1 (55), maximum biological yield (9495 kg ha-1), maximum grain yield (3885 kg ha-1), heavier 1000 grain weight (46 g), maximum harvest index (40 %) were recorded from the plots whereas mould board plough tillage implement was used along with integrated fertilizer 20 ton ha-1 FYM + 60 kg ha-1 N produced higher yield and yield attributes of wheat. It is concluded from these observation that mould board plough tillage implement with combination of 20 ton ha-1 FYM + 60 kg ha-1 N produce high yield and yield component of wheat.
