Abstract
The baseline study of alpine flora of Khunjerab National Park was carried out by field trips conducted in different seasons of the year. The study area was thoroughly surveyed throughout the year to ensure the collection of maximum diversity. The current study focused on the flowering biodiversity that exists in the study area. For this purpose we collected plant specimens from different localities of KNP, which gave us total number of plant species, genera and families. The collected specimens consist of (155) plant species which belongs to 97 genera and 36 families. During the plant collection we observed the phenological status of each species, i.e., flowering and fruiting condition, and some ecological parameters like altitude, abundance and life form classes were observed. The prime aims of this current research were to provide the inclusive inventory, dominance and threats to flora in the study area.
