Influenced of
hydrostatic pressure on the release of dissolved organic substances from focus vesiculosus (phaeophyta).Mustafa shameel
Influenced of
hydrostatic pressure on the release of dissolved organic substances from focus vesiculosus (phaeophyta). ABSTRACT: Under the influence of high
hydrostatic pressure the thalli of focus vesiculosus L. release macromolecules. Which undergo a slow disintegration even after the removal of pressure . the amount of exudation is directly proportional to the length of incision given n the thallus. The excretion of organic substances increases with the rising pressure intensity (200 to 1000 atm) as well as the duration of its action (
1 to 10 hours). Temperature acts antagonistically to the pressure effects . the quantity of released macromolecules decreases with the increase in temperatue (50 to 300C). high temperatures (400C) however, intensity the pressure effects.

Conidium ontogeny
in hypomycetes the phialides of torulmyces lagena and anthopsis deltoidea ABSTRACT: Conidium ontogeny in torulmycetes
lagene delitsch and anthopsis deltoidea filipelo marchisio. Fontana and luppi mosca is illustrated by time-lapse photomicrography. The genera produce phialoconidia y a fixed meristem without incurrying concornitant elongation or
shortening of the conidiogenous cell.

Screening of genetic stocks for resistance to bacterial blight of cottonTalib hussain
Screening of genetic stocks for resistance to bacterial blight of cotton ABSTRACT: One hundred and seven lines of gossypium hirsutum L. originating from ten different countries were screened for resistance to bacterial blight incited by xanthomonas malvacearum (E.F. Smith), Dowson . seven lines were hormozygous immune , six segregating and ninety- four lines were found homozygous susceptible in the presence of race
18 of the pathogen . the immune lines appear to be a valuable source of germplasm for the contrl of bacterial blight of cotton in Pakistan.

Revision of pavonia cav.(malvaceae) from PakistanSultanul abedin
Revision of pavonia cav.(malvaceae) from Pakistan ABSTRACT: In the present paper, 7 taxa
including 1 new form are recognized in the genus pavonia Cav. From Pakistan . pavonia glechomaefolia (
A. Rich.) garcke and P. procumbens (weight and arnott) walp. Usually placed under 1 taxon are considered as two distinct species P.. coxii Tad. And Jacob is reduced to the synonymy of P.glechomaefolia ( A. Rich ) garcke . P. propinqua garcke and P. ceratocarpa Dalz . ex Mast . are reduced to the synonymy of P. grewioides hochst. Ex boiss . typification of various taxa is discussed in detail.

Effect of F, W-450 on
growth , pollen germination , yield and fruit-quanlity in lycopersicon esculentum mill. ABSTRACT: Plants of tomato (lycopersicon
esculentum mill). Cv ‘ PUSA RUBY’
were given four foliar sprays of F.W-
450 at 500, 1000, 1500 and 2000 ppm. FW-450 reduced the height of plant and increased the circular growth . the formation of flowers and fruits was enhanced up to a
concentration of 1500 ppm and was drastically reduced at 2000ppm.
F,W-450 inhibited pollen viability

Isolation and characterization of growth inhibitiors in the leaves of mesembryanthemum speciesM. ISHAQ KHAN AND MASSOUD M. GODEH
Isolation and characterization of growth inhibitiors in the leaves of mesembryanthemum species ABSTRACT: Charcoal adsorbed fraction of methanolic extracts of mesembry anthemum forskahlei and M. crystallinum leaves contained inhibitors of root and hypocotyl growth of lettuce . Gibberellic acid induced growth of root and hypocotyl was also inhibited by the crude inhibitors extract. The presence of high concentration of gibberellic acid (10 ppm) not only neutralized the growth inhibiting activity of the inhibitor (s) from the two species but also gave hogher growth promotion of the hypocotyl as compared to water control . paper chromatographic separation of the crude extracts of the two species of mesembryanthemum leaves revealed the pressure of two
distinct inhibitory zones ( inhibitor-A and inhibitor-B ) .these two inhibitors from both the species were found to resist high temperatues (500 – 800C).

Relationship
between yield and yield components in induced mutants of mung bean ABSTRACT: Influence of altered plant type on the
interrelationship among yoeld and its components was studied in 28 mutant lines of mung bean. Plant height exhibited positive correlation with yield per plant showing deviation from the previously reported correlation studies. Number of pods per plant, length of pod and number of grains per pod showed positive correlation with yoeld per plant . highly positive correlation was found between length of pod and number of grains per pod. Correlation between number of pods per plant and pod
