Abstract
Studies were planned to analyze the response of chickpea genotypes to water stress (10% - PEG) at germination stage. Four genotypes viz., CM-2000, CM-94/99, CM-98 and 6153 were used and data for root length and protein mobilization from cotyledons to seedlings were collected on fifth and seventh day after germination.
