Abstract
Six plants communities , i.e. acacia Arabica ,
A. Senegal , euphorbia caducifolia , prosopis glandulosa , salvadora oleoides and tamarix gallica have been recognized in the soythern coastal areas of Pakistan . thirteen termite species belonging to
eight genera , i.e. Amitermes , anacanthotermes , coptotermes, eremotermes microcerotermes, microtermes , odontotrmes and psammotermes have been found in these communities . soil samples obtained from these communities have been analysed for their physical and chemical characteristics . relationships of dominant plant species to soil have been described with regard to texture , porosity , water
